It's not all riding, stables have to be cleaned (although they use deep litter bedding system here with the stables set up so a tractor can come in and pull out all of the bedding every two weeks- not my favourite system but with numerous people coming & going & around 100 boxes to do every day this seems to be the most efficient way to control waste), aisles have to be swept, horses need grooming, even drains in the wash bays have to be cleared every day!
