Another exciting day , this time a visit to Monica Theodorescu's stable. Briana Burgess one of our national squad riders hs been working for Monica for just about a year now, Briana met us for dinner on Friday evening and gave the riders some tips on how to compete and hopefully get a position in a good stable. Work hard, expect some days to be not so good but relish the good days; be prepared to campaign for quite a while before you are acknowledged in the competition arena- you have to earn your position by training hard, riding well and getting plenty of practice.
Today Monica rode a younger small tour horse which is owned by an Italian client. Russian rider Alexandra Korelova and her horse Balacur (a favourite with everyone -from the circus to the Police to Grand Prix dressage at the Olympics)were also training with Monica -what a treat.
Thekla found a new friend -one of Monica's dogs.
